1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using NICOP (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

NICOP is a civic platform that enables overseas Pakistanis to discover, start, and join community initiatives. We provide tools for community organisation, communication, and collaboration. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from initiatives created on the Platform.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Collect or track the personal information of others without consent
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing

5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you post, upload, or otherwise make available on the Platform ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant NICOP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating and improving the Platform.

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NICOP and its licensors. The Platform is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Initiatives and Community Actions

NICOP facilitates community initiatives but does not own, operate, or control them. Initiative creators and participants are responsible for their own actions and any agreements made between members. NICOP is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from community activities.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. NICOP makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Platform, or that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NICOP, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NICOP and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
